trying,
to make you love me,
Tired of waiting,
for you to care,
Tired of crying,
when nobody sees me,
Tired of being alone,
and no one is ever there
Tired of being strong,
never being able to breakdown,
Tired of smiling,
while inside my tears I drown
Tired of pretending,
that everythings allright,
Tired of falling asleep,
with only dreams,
to hold me tight.

The wind rips through me,
Freezing my soul,
My heart cries out in wanting,
For a dream I cannot hold,
A battle between heart,mind and lust,
Knowing what I want,
Yet doing what I must,
Stuck in the limbo of fantasy,
Then waking to the pain of reality,
Bounded by promises not to be broken,
Hidden behind tears,
Never seen,
Never spoken.

You have me trapped,
Enslaved by your dreams,
Within this web,
You so cleverly weave,
You have me chained,
Entwined in steel,
Visions of ectasy's,
Imagined as real,
You have me imprisioned,
Locked up tightly, no key,
Caged by these feelings,
That won't let me be,
You have me harnessed,
Roped and tied,
When face to face with you,
I cannot hide,
You have me hypnotized,
Entranced by your eye's,
The slightest touch of your lips,
Silences all of my cries,
You have me captured,
Frozen in place,
Wishing with all of my heart,
To never wake from this place.

Angerly facing the wind,
Must you bring me here,
Where I know I can't win,
Why must you hurt me,
With your deception and lies,
Do you gain such pleasure,
Watching the tears fall from my eyes.
How can I end this,
Make you let me be,
Can I change the future.
Setting my heart free.

Darkness engulfs me,
I look to the sky,
So lost and alone,
And not knowing why,
To many roads,
None of them right,
Fog covers the moon,
Blurring my sight,
Fighting the whispers,
Pulling me down,
Listening for angels,
But none make a sound,
Praying for the sunrise,
Bringing in a new day,
Chasing out the darkness,
Lighting my way.
